Community Service
YRM participates in ongoing neighborhood community service projects. On a regular basis, more than twenty volunteers pick up litter before and after weekly scheduled Department of Public Works trash pick up.
In addition, a neighborhood park is regularly cared for with seasonal plantings and weekly lawn and garden maintenance. YRM also identifies and aids its elderly and disabled neighbors with seasonal maintenance needs such as spring clean up, fall leaf removal, and snow removal during the winter. In addition, dumping grounds, overgrown vacant lots and abandoned properties in the area are identified by the director and taken care of.
